Bo Jackson To Bring Sports Complex To Crown Point

Bo Jackson is bringing a $16 million youth sports center to Crown Point. At least that’s what his Lockport-based Jackson Elite Sports people told Crown Point officials yesterday. Bo Jackson himself was unable to attend.

The Bo Jackson Legacy Athletic Center will allow Crown Point’s youth athletes an opportunity to practice year-round in a 155,904 square foot air-supported fabric dome. There will be plenty of space for multiple baseball, football, softball fields, as well as basketball and volleyball courts.

The Crown Point Parks Department will enjoy a second 12,300 square foot building that will house their offices as well as a community room, retail store, food court and restrooms.

This will be a great addition to Crown Point’s already strong commitment to youth sports.
