Patz Market Not Leaving Hebron

In a post the other day, we reported that Patz Market, a fixture in Hebron for 45 years, was closing due to financial difficulties caused by the road construction in town (view that post here). The information was reported by the Post Tribune and was allegedly heard at the Hebron Town Council meeting.

A more recent article, which quotes Jeff Patz (the owner), says that he and the market intend to still serve as the local grocer even with the financial difficulties that they have been having.

We need to commend Jeff and his crew for hanging in there and the dedication they have shown the town. If you are from Hebron or the surrounding communities, please consider them for your grocery needs. They work hard for it and, more importantly, being without a supermarket in town would be a large inconvenience for a lot of people.
