Lend America Closes Doors On Customers

After receiving multiple emails about Lend America because of one of my previous posts, I went to their website where I was greeted with…

Effective immediately, the company has ceased its formal operation and loan origination capability.

The company will continue to fulfill its obligation to Fannie Mae (FNMA), Ginnie Mae (GNMA) and regulatory agencies.

For clients that have previously applied with Lend America, we have initiated notification by United States Postal Service a Statement of Credit Denial, Termination or Change.

For added convenience, our Customer Service Department is available to answer questions pertaining to releasing of FHA Case numbers, funding inquiries, etc.

Lend America borrowers who have questions concerning their existing account and/or payments, please continue to remit your payment as normal according to you coupon instructions. You may call our servicing unit at 1-888-262-0411 for more information.

Literal translation is… We’re out of business and you’re out of luck!

If you have applied to them, you will be receiving a Letter of Credit Denial which means that they will no longer have anything to do with you.

Unfortunately, those with loans in process through Lend America will probably have to start all over again in the application process. They may be out fees and moneys that they have payed already.

Here’s the good news! If you live in Indiana, I may be able to help. If you were in the process of getting a loan through Lend America when they closed, we may be able to get the FHA number assigned to us so that we can take over. For you, we will waive any and all application fees.

You will still be required to fill out a new application and qualify based on current lending standards, but we will try to make the process as smooth and painless for you as possible.
